The Internet Archive is an incredible repository for anything you can possibly imagine that can be and has been stored in a digital format. This goes for essays, play scripts, "backissues" of Web sites, among many other things.

They also have an extensive live music archive. The most infamous and impressive collection is probably that of the Grateful Dead, but just about any band with an open trading policy is well represented.

Communist Bakesale tries to record every live show we perform. We've only missed one show so far. We also try to get every show we record up on the archive, though it is a somewhat tedious process, and not every recording is listenable due to various technological factors. Still, there are only 4 shows missing, and 3 of them will appear sooner than later.
